This was one of three Fantasy Island stop frame LEGO animations I wrote and led creatively. I live in Bristol so I'm often at the beach or hearing drum 'n' bass music blasting out of open windows so orc's story is very much inspired by life here! There's also a cheeky nod to the crab rave meme/song in there too.
This short was expertly animated by MegaSpaceFighter, a Polish company led by a film student I met when working on a Star Wars campaign when I first joined Our LEGO Agency. Thanks to some brilliant lower budget projects like this one he and his team made for us, his company is now an official LEGO vendor.
